Italian lessons in the park
of Villa Teresa
Would you like to say more on holiday than “un caffè, per favore”? Or finally use the language you once learned? At ABC ELBA, adults from different backgrounds come together with one shared wish: to experience Italian through conversation.
Our school is in the park of historic Villa Teresa in Porto Azzurro. Here, you learn outdoors beneath mature eucalyptus trees. Our experienced teachers are native Italian speakers. They explain, ask questions and help you find your own words. Grammar is part of the experience, as is the chance to put what you learn straight into practice.
We help you plan your stay. In class, you immerse yourself in Italian, step by step and at a level suited to your previous knowledge.

COURSE AND ACCOMMODATION
Stay
at Villa Teresa
If you would like to stay close to the school, you can choose an apartment at Villa Teresa. Classes take place in the same park, so you can walk to your lessons in the morning and spend the rest of the day as you please.
Choose a studio in the historic building or a small holiday cottage. Your travelling companions can also stay here without attending a course. Your own kitchen gives you the freedom to organise the day as you wish.
Villa Teresa is around 500–600 metres from both Barbarossa beach and the centre of Porto Azzurro. You can enjoy your language holiday without a car: Italian in the morning, the beach in the afternoon and dinner in town in the evening.

AFTER CLASS, TOO
Keep practising Italian after class
Over a shared meal, the next sentence often comes more easily. ABC ELBA offers regular shared afternoon activities: excursions, culture and time to speak Italian together.
We discuss the week’s programme at the school. You choose what to join, or enjoy an afternoon to yourself by the sea or in Porto Azzurro. We explain what is included and any extra costs before you take part.
