It never ceases to amaze us with its endless source of masterpieces by great artists such as Michelangelo, Brunelleschi, Giotto, Leonardo da Vinci and Botticelli. Our teacher lives and knows Florence very well and can make you discover the city through the eyes of a Florentine.If you choose the standard Italian language course, you will have the opportunity to visit the city on your own, but with the useful advice of the teacher.
Alternately, with the combined Italian language and art course you can let yourself be guided by the teacher to discover this wonderful city, through a vast program of activities and guided tours.
From culture to local gastronomic tradition, from concerts to art exhibitions, to history and art, we will be able to advise you best for your stay in Florence!
The homestay courses are individual courses or pre-determined small group courses “full immersion”. In addition to the “classic” Italian lessons, city tours and visits to historical works of art or museums can be organized with the teacher.
The student will live in an independent apartment in the same building as the teacher,and will have the opportunity to maintain his independence and to fully immerse himself in the language.
The courses can be designed individually, and special needs can be taken into account at any time.
Here are some examples of how to organize a one-to-one course in the teacher’s home:

Course Levels
The course is available for all levels. In order to prepare the teaching material at best, the students take a written and oral test before the start of the course.
Classes
A homestay course is a one-to-one course, but it is also possible to organize courses for 2 people or for families. This enables careful and precise teaching and promotes continuous learning.
Didactic Material
The didactic material is carefully selected on the basis of the latest criteria and included in the course price.
Accommodation and costs
For a successful homestay course, we recommend our apartment “Torri”, close to the teacher but according to the student’s preferences it is also possible to organize another type of accommodation. We will be happy to help you find the most suitable solution for you.
STANDARD ITALIAN COURSE
10/15/20/30/40 HOURS (60 MINUTS) PER WEEK
4 hours of private tuition per day, total of 20 hours
For those who are looking for a course tailored to meet each individual’s own professional or personal needs,and with a flexible timetable chosen by the student.
The teacher can completely adapt to you, your special wishes and needs; Your particular difficulties can be dealt with in a targeted manner and language deficits can be remedied quickly, which enables you to significantly improve your language skills in a short time.

This course is recommended for those students who want to learn Italian (up to 4 hours a day) through a complete program that leaves plenty of time to enjoy the city of Florence and discover Tuscany! But it is also ideal for those who want to or need to study undisturbed and without distraction for a personal or professional purpose in a short time (with 6 or 8 hours a day).
LANGUAGE AND ART COURSE
10/15/20/30/40 HOURS (60 MINUTES) PER WEEK
For those who want to deepen their knowledge of the Italian language by combining individual tuition with guided tours of Florence. This combination, accompanied by your teacher, allows you to better appreciate the wide range of cultural activities and to discover corners, curiosities and itineraries that are less known to mass tourism while practicing the Italian language.
6 or more hours a day (4 hours of Italian + 2 or more hours for visiting the city, churches and other art historical works), a total of 30 hours.

This course is suitable for art and history lovers who want to deepen their Italian language skills in order to discover one of the most beautiful cities in the world accompanied by the teacher!
Do you already know Florence? Don't worry: Florence is so rich in history, culture and art that it is possible to take part in the Italian and art course every year and always discover something new and different. The program of lessons and excursions is always individually adapted to the student.

A quiet apartment that is well connected to the center and can be easily reached by all means of transport. It is located near the motorway entrance and the airport.
The apartment has all amenities: air conditioning, free WiFi, oven, microwave, refrigerator with freezer, TV, bed linen, towels and kitchen linen.
2-room attic apartment with 3 roof terraces:
Bedroom with double bed and access to a bathroom (shower, toilet but without sink) and a terrace; Living room with a sofa bed (for 3 children or for 2 adults) and access to the second terrace; Closet cabin; Kitchen with table and access to the third covered terrace; Bathroom (sink, toilet, no shower).
Connection to the center
The tram stop, the fastest means of transport to the city center, is 800m away. The journey takes about 10 minutes. The apartment is easily accessible by car as it is close to the motorway entrance.
A free parking lot is in front of the house and another, also free, 100m away.
The apartment is beautiful and well- equipped. Perfect for a family stay in Florence. The location is great, close to the city center and with the possibility to park outside. Alberto is very nice, hospitable and helpful! Highly recommended.

Very well equipped apartment, tastefully decorated and in a fantastic location with free parking.
The location was great and the accommodation was well equipped and nicely decorated. All household appliances worked well and the WiFi was very fast. This apartment is family owned and the two people we worked with were friendly and straightforward. We spent an extra night and thanks to the comfort and convenient location, we also considered extending our stay by a few days.
