Our Italian language school is located in Porto Azzurro on the island of Elba, where an elegant beach promenade and a tourist port offer pleasant walks and shopping opportunities.Porto Azzurro and Capoliveri is full of restaurants, pubs, piano bars and wine shops where fun and entertainment is guaranteed.
From Piombino Marittima, the ferry companies TOREMAR, MOBY, BLU NAVY and ELBA FERRIES run every hour to Portoferraio (the main port), Rio Marina, and Cavo. The crossing takes about 1 hour (40 minutes with Elba Ferries). If you arrive by car, it is advisable to reserve a place on the ferry beforehand. By car
Via Munich: Highway Kufstein, Brenner (A1), Bozen, Verona, Modena, Parma West (on the A15), La Spezia (A12), Livorno, to Rosignano Marittima and then on the S.G.C. to Venturina-Island of Elba and from there to Piombino Marittima. As an alternative, highway A1 Brenner, Modena, Bologna, Firenze (exit Firenze Scandicci), the S.G.C. Take Firenze-Pisa Livorno, then continue to Collesalvetti, then again on the highway to Rosignano Marittima, then the superstrada to Venturina-Isola d’Elba and then Piombino Marittima.
Via Basel: Highway Luzern, St. Gotthard, Chiasso, Milan, Parma West (on the A15) La Spezia (A12), Livorno to Rosignano Marittima and then on the S.G.C. to Venturina-Isola d’Elba and from there to Piombino Marittima.
By train
Take the main link Genoa Pisa-Rome to Campiglia Marittima and take the local train to Piombino-Porto; the train arrives just a few steps from the ferries.
By bus
CH-EUROBUS-ELBA EXPRESS: Bus departures from May-October. Switzerland-Elba every Friday evening. Every Saturday at noon Elba Switzerland. Departure points from Switzerland: Bern, Olten, Zurich, Lucerne.
By plane
The airport on Elba in Marina di Campo is served several times a day from Milan and Pisa during the season.
International airports: Pisa, Florence and Rome.
Pisa Airport Shuttle Bus: from Pisa Airport to Piombino port and back.
