Yes. Complete beginners are welcome. We take your level into account and guide you step by step. Starting Italian from scratch.

Regular group courses run with at least three students at a similar level.

In the Standard course, two students at the same level receive two 50-minute group lessons per day. A single student receives six private lessons per week at the same course price instead of twenty group lessons.

In Mini-group, a single student at their level receives ten private lessons per week (two per day) at the same course price.

In Intensive, a single student at their level receives private lessons instead of group lessons at the same course price. We confirm the exact lesson programme before the course starts.

During the course season, courses can start every Monday, including for complete beginners. The Standard course runs Monday to Friday, 09:30–13:10, with a break from 11:10 to 11:30. The Intensive course adds two lessons from 14:00 to 15:40. Please check availability before booking your travel.

Standard and Intensive groups have a maximum of 10 students. Mini-groups have a maximum of 5. See the individual course pages for the rules that apply to smaller groups.

Yes. The certificate is included in the registration fee. If you need documents for your employer, please mention this when you enquire.

In 2027, a one-week Standard group course costs €250 per person, plus a €50 registration fee valid for twelve months. Accommodation and travel are not included. See all course fees.

Yes. Textbooks are included in the €50 registration fee, which also covers administration, accommodation arrangements and the attendance certificate. The fee is valid for twelve months.

Use the enquiry form to ask for information or enrol for a course. After sending, a confirmation page is shown; we then reply by email. Details of the contracting party for your course and the deposit will be provided in our personal email reply or booking confirmation. You can also email info@abcelba.com.

We will provide details of the contracting party for your ABC ELBA course in our personal email reply to your enquiry or in the written booking confirmation. All payment conditions.

If we receive your course cancellation at least 30 calendar days before the originally planned course start, your course deposit becomes a credit towards a new course at ABC ELBA. The credit is valid for 12 months from the original course start date. The new course must begin within that period.

If you cancel less than 30 calendar days before the course starts, or do not arrive, the deposit paid is retained. No credit is issued and the remaining course fee is not charged.

If we receive your accommodation cancellation at least 30 calendar days before the booked arrival date, we refund the accommodation deposit paid.

With less than 30 calendar days’ notice, the full booked accommodation price is initially payable. We immediately offer the accommodation for re-letting and try to recover all or part of the cancelled period. Re-letting cannot be guaranteed.

Actual revenue from re-letting the same accommodation for the cancelled nights reduces the amount you owe, up to the original accommodation price. Partial re-letting also counts. Any overpayment is refunded. The final statement and any refund are provided within 30 calendar days after the originally booked departure date.

Please send your cancellation in writing by email to info@abcelba.com. The date we receive your message determines the notice period. For courses, calendar days are counted to the course start; for accommodation, to the booked arrival date. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.

If you voluntarily leave a course that has already started, the full fee for the booked course remains payable. There is no refund for unattended lessons or remaining course weeks. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.

If you leave your accommodation earlier than booked after arrival, the full price of the booked stay remains payable. We immediately offer the unused nights in the same accommodation for re-letting. Actual revenue from those nights reduces the amount you owe, up to the original accommodation price. Partial re-letting also counts; re-letting cannot be guaranteed. Any overpayment is refunded. The final statement and any refund are provided within 30 calendar days after the originally booked departure date. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.

Yes. ABC ELBA is based at Residence Villa Teresa. Holiday apartments in the same park can be arranged with your course on request. Compare accommodation.

Dogs can be accepted in ground-floor accommodation, preferably with a private outdoor area. The supplement is €50 per stay. Please mention your dog when you enquire; we will confirm a suitable apartment.

Your dog may stay with you during lessons if it is quiet and does not disturb the other students.

You don’t need a car to get to class if you stay at Villa Teresa. The centre of Porto Azzurro and Barbarossa beach are each about 500–600 m away. Transport for excursions depends on your destination and the connections available.

Travel to Piombino and take a ferry to Elba. The right crossing and onward journey to Porto Azzurro depend on your travel dates. Plan your journey and ferry crossing.

Yes. Partners, friends and family members can stay with you without attending an Italian course.

For children and teenagers aged 10–16, we assess private lessons or shared lessons with siblings and friends at a similar level. We agree lesson times and the number of lessons according to age and previous knowledge. Prices are provided in your personal quote. Tell us the children’s ages and Italian knowledge in your enquiry.
