Intensive group course: 6 lessons daily
Monday to Friday: 4 group lessons from 09:30 to 13:10, including a coffee break, and 2 group lessons from 14:00 to 15:40. Each lesson lasts 50 minutes.

Would you like to spend more time on Italian during your stay? The Intensive course includes four group lessons each morning and two more in the afternoon, from 14:00 to 15:40. Practise grammar, vocabulary and conversation with students at a similar level.
Six 50-minute lessons daily make 30 lessons per week.

How much does the Intensive course cost?

Add a €50 registration fee, valid for twelve months. Accommodation and travel are not included in these course fees.

Is this course suitable for beginners?
Yes. Tell us about your previous knowledge, including if you are starting Italian from scratch. We will advise you on a suitable start date and take your level into account when planning your course. Complete beginners can also start every Monday during the course season.
How long is a lesson?
A group lesson lasts 50 minutes. The regular Intensive course includes six lessons a day: four in the morning and two in the afternoon.
What happens if fewer than three students join at my level?
The regular Intensive course runs with at least three students. If you are the only student at your level, you receive private lessons at the same course price. The lesson count is agreed before booking. With two students, we agree the teaching hours before booking.
Is accommodation included in the course price?
No. Accommodation is offered separately. You can enquire about a course and apartment together and receive a quote for your preferred dates.
Can I attend without staying at the villa?
Yes. You can book just the course and stay elsewhere on Elba.

An apartment on the school grounds means a short walk to class. Travelling as a couple, with only one person taking lessons? Your companion is welcome as a holiday guest.
After class, explore the island together or relax in the park. The pool is available to guests staying at Villa Teresa. If you attend only the course, you are of course free to choose your own accommodation.
